Laser lifting (Ulthera / Thermage)

Signature

Ultrasound and RF energy that lift the SMAS and tighten deep layers.

Laser lifting firms the face without surgery by stimulating your own collagen deep in the skin. There are two main approaches that work at different depths — the right one depends on whether your main concern is sagging or looseness and fine lines.

Approaches
Ulthera — for lifting

Focused ultrasound reaches the deepest support layer (the SMAS), the same layer a surgical facelift addresses.

Best for you if

your jawline or neck has started to sag or droop, you want a genuine lifting effect, or you'd consider a facelift but prefer non-surgical. Works well on a softening jawline and double chin.

Less suited if

your main concern is surface texture or fine lines rather than sagging, or your face is already very lean (deep energy can reduce volume).

Thermage — for tightening

Radiofrequency works in the dermis to tighten and smooth the skin's surface.

Best for you if

your skin feels loose or crepey with fine lines, enlarged pores or rough texture, but you don't need a big lift. A good fit for overall firmness and a smoother finish, and for thinner faces where you want to keep volume.

Less suited if

you have significant sagging that needs actual lifting — tightening alone won't raise it.

Time & recovery

Around 30–60 minutes; most return to daily life the same day, with possible mild redness or slight swelling.

Over time

Some immediate tightening, with the real change building over about 2–3 months as collagen forms, and typically lasting 6–12 months. Results vary by age, skin and lifestyle.

Good to know

Many people combine them — Ulthera to lift the deeper structure, Thermage to tighten the surface. Your clinic decides based on your skin's laxity, thickness and fat. For about a week avoid saunas, hot baths and intense exercise, and keep up sun care.

Thread lift (PDO / PCL)

Signature

Dissolvable threads that lift and hold the jawline and neck.

A thread lift places fine dissolvable threads just under the skin to physically lift sagging tissue, and as the threads absorb, to encourage new collagen. It's done under local anesthetic through tiny entry points — no incisions.

Recommended for

Moderate sagging that needs an actual lift, not just tightening; a defined jawline or neck without surgery; a visible lift on the day itself.

Time & recovery

Around 30–60 minutes depending on the number of threads; recovery is usually 3–7 days, with some bruising, swelling or a tight feeling that generally eases within 1–2 weeks.

Over time

An immediate lift on the day. Around 1–4 weeks, as swelling settles, it can feel like the effect "faded" — this is normal. Collagen builds over 1–3 months and settles by 3–6 months. The physical lift typically lasts about 1–1.5 years.

Good to know

For a period after, avoid alcohol, saunas, hot baths and intense exercise, take any prescribed medication, and treat the area gently. Temporary bruising or a pulling sensation are common and usually settle on their own.

Ultrasound lifting (Shurink / Sofwave)

HIFU tightening for jawline definition and a natural lift, no downtime.

Two ultrasound treatments that firm the skin with no downtime — each working at a different depth, so the right one depends on your goal.

Approaches
Shurink — deeper, for a subtle lift

Focused ultrasound (HIFU) reaches deeper layers to define the jawline and lift gently.

Best for you if

you want jawline definition and a subtle lift with zero downtime, or you like the idea of a HIFU lift at an accessible level.

Less suited if

your face is already very lean — deeper energy can reduce volume — or you want surface smoothing more than a lift.

Sofwave — shallower, volume-preserving

Ultrasound is delivered to the mid-dermis, where collagen is richest, without affecting deeper fat.

Best for you if

you want firmer, smoother skin while keeping your facial volume, you have a lean or hollow-prone face, or you prefer a gentler, even treatment.

Less suited if

your main concern is significant deep sagging that needs a stronger, deeper lift.

Time & recovery

Around 30–60 minutes depending on the area; immediate return to daily life. Mild redness is possible.

Over time

Builds gradually over about 3–6 months as collagen forms; results are often maintained with periodic sessions. Individual results vary.

Good to know

RF tightening (Oligio / INMODE)

Monopolar RF that firms skin and remodels collagen.

Radiofrequency that warms the dermis to stimulate collagen, firming skin and refining texture. Comfortable, with built-in cooling, and often done without anesthetic. Two devices suit slightly different goals.

Approaches
Oligio — gentle firming, tuned for Korean skin

Monopolar RF for overall tightening, with a dedicated eye tip.

Best for you if

you want comfortable, low-downtime firming, your face is thin or has little fat (where deeper lifting devices are hard to use), or you want the delicate eye area treated too.

Less suited if

you also want noticeable fat reduction along the jaw — Oligio firms rather than contours.

INMODE — firming with a contouring option

RF with modes that both tighten skin and reduce localized fat.

Best for you if

you have mild fullness along the jaw or chin as well as laxity, and want tightening and a slimmer contour together.

Less suited if

your face is already lean — fat-reducing energy isn't needed and could over-reduce volume.

Time & recovery

Around 30–60 minutes; immediate return to daily life, with possible brief redness.

Over time
