Smile & dental

Crafted, and built to last.

Smile work done as a craft — to brighten, restore, or straighten.

Treatments

Laminate (porcelain veneers)

Signature

Custom shells that reshape color, form and alignment.

Best for discoloration, chips, a full reshape.

Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth to refine color, shape and alignment. Only the front enamel is minimally prepared (no-prep options exist), and because there's no metal inside, the result looks natural and translucent. Because a small amount of natural tooth is shaped, veneers cannot be undone — so where whitening, alignment or small bonding can solve the issue, those are considered first.

Recommended for

Deep discoloration that whitening can't resolve; small gaps, chips, or uneven or worn front teeth; slight misalignment you'd rather not treat with orthodontics; a full front-teeth reshape.

Treat first

Significant crowding or bite issues (orthodontics first); gum inflammation (gum treatment first). Heavy grinding raises the risk of chipping, so a nightguard and bite assessment are part of planning.

Time & recovery

Usually two visits; bonding takes roughly 10–20 minutes per tooth at the second visit. The adhesive fully sets over 2–3 days, and temporary sensitivity for about a week can occur and eases.

Over time

Long-lasting with good care — often many years. Chipping is the most common reason for repair, and grinding or acidic diets can shorten lifespan.

Good to know

Avoid biting very hard or chewy foods and never use front teeth as tools; wear a nightguard if you grind; use a soft brush with fluoride; and keep regular check-ups.

Whitening

A professional, even lift in shade across the teeth.

A professional whitening treatment that lightens the natural shade of the teeth evenly, using a controlled bleaching process — in-clinic, at-home, or combined.

Recommended for

Generally healthy teeth with surface or age-related yellowing; a brighter, even shade without altering tooth structure; a non-invasive first step before considering veneers.

Time & recovery

Comfortable sessions; temporary tooth sensitivity is common and settles.

Over time

Results last a while but fade with coffee, tea and pigmented foods; touch-ups maintain the shade. Individual results vary.

Good to know

Whitening doesn't change crowns, veneers or fillings. Your dentist advises whether whitening alone meets your goal.

Smile design

A mapped-out plan for proportion, shade and line before any work begins.

A planning step that maps proportion, shape and shade to your face before any work begins — often using digital simulation — so the result is designed, not guessed.

Recommended for

Anyone planning veneers or a broader smile makeover; previewing and agreeing the plan before committing.

Time & recovery

A consultation and design session — no recovery.

Good to know

A pre-trip smile-design session lets planning happen before travel, with final placement on the visit. Coordinated with partner ateliers.

Navigation implant

Computer-guided placement for a precise, stable, lasting result.

A computer-guided approach to dental implants. A 3D scan and CT are used to plan the exact position, angle and depth in advance, and a custom surgical guide directs the placement — improving precision and, where the bone is suitable, often allowing a minimal or no-incision procedure with less bleeding and swelling.

Recommended for

Replacing a missing tooth (or several) with a stable, lasting result; those who want the precision of digital planning; cases where guided placement reduces risk near nerves.

Time & recovery

The guided placement itself is efficient with reduced swelling; an implant then needs time to integrate with the bone (typically over a few months) before the final tooth is fitted. A temporary may be possible in some cases.

Over time

Once integrated, an implant is a long-lasting tooth replacement with good care and regular check-ups. Individual healing varies.

Good to know

This is a surgical treatment requiring planning and a healing period, so it suits travelers who can arrange the necessary visits. Your clinic assesses bone and suitability first.

Clear aligners

Removable trays that straighten teeth discreetly over time.

A series of removable, near-invisible trays that gradually move the teeth into alignment — planned digitally from start to finish, and removable for eating and cleaning.

Recommended for

Mild to moderate alignment concerns; wanting a discreet, removable alternative to fixed braces; those who can commit to wearing them consistently.

Time & recovery

No procedure or downtime; treatment runs over months, with trays changed in stages.

Over time

Teeth move gradually over the treatment period; a retainer maintains the result afterward. Individual results vary.

Good to know

Aligners work only when worn — usually about 20–22 hours a day — so consistency is essential. Because treatment spans months, a clinic can plan a travel-friendly schedule with remote check-ins.
